What do the UK public think about lawyers?

Have you ever wondered what the UK public think about lawyers? We conducted a survey of 501 people to find out - and the results may surprise you!

In case you missed it last week on Linked In, I shared the results of a ‘quick’ piece of research that the LFMC conducted in collaboration with Conscious Solutions seeking to understand the public’s perception of the honesty and ethical standards of professionals, including lawyers.

The headlines are that lawyers are 6th out of 18 professionals in terms of ‘positive’ ratings but that lawyers only have a 45% positive rating from the UK public. Lawyers do at least come out ahead of accountants, police officers and, unlike in the US survey, estate agents!

So good news. Or is it?
